Jayne, our resident Women’s Health Specialist and Menopause Champion, is on hand to offer various services to empower you to understand the changes happening in your body and navigate menopause with confidence and ease.
At Calveo, our team of dedicated healthcare professionals provides comprehensive and compassionate care to guide you throughout your menopause journey. As part of our holistic service, we provide specialist GP consultations for HRT, referrals to our nutritional therapist and Well Woman blood testing.
If you’re juggling life as part of the ‘sandwich’ generation or noticing the first signs of menopause, our Menopause Support is here for you. Experiencing sudden changes like hot flashes, weight gain, insomnia, brain fog, anxiety, or changes to your menstrual cycle can be very disconcerting. These, unfortunately, are common but often uncomfortable indicators of the transition to menopause, and we’re here to help you decipher what’s happening with your body.
With the onset of menopause, you may notice your menstrual cycle becoming irregular before it eventually stops due to fluctuations in hormone levels – particularly oestrogen and progesterone. Many of the changes we experience during this time can disrupt your lifestyle, affecting relationships, work-life and physical health. At CALVEO, we believe understanding your health and wellbeing shouldn’t be a battle. Our approach to care is designed to empower every woman to feel informed, in control, and ready to embrace their menopause journey.
At CALVEO, our Menopause Support service is personalised and centred around you. Prior to your appointment, we will ask you to fill out an online health questionnaire and symptom checker form. This will enable us to understand your health concerns and explore your current issues.
During our session, we will discuss:
- Symptoms you are experiencing during your peri-menopause or menopause journey
- To help you understand why these symptoms are occurring
- Give yourself tools to help manage these symptoms
- Empower yourself to become your own advocate to access the appropriate treatment from your healthcare professionals
- Referral to our private GP for HRT if appropriate
This will enable us to map out your most suitable path forward.
We also have a blood testing facility to determine over 58 key biomarkers to give you a clear understanding of your overall health, sex hormones and thyroid function. We also offer nutritional advice from our trained in-house nutritional therapist, guaranteeing a holistic approach to your care.
